2012 “My County” Poster Contest Top 4 Winners
Four Ocean County Fourth Grade Students were recently honored as the top winners of the 2012 “My County” Poster Contest in recognition of National County Government Month.
93 Fourth grade students from 34 schools throughout Ocean County participated in the contest to promote awareness of County government and its functions. Fourth graders were invited to design a poster that depicts all that’s special and unique about Ocean County. The winners were each presented with a certificate from Ocean County Officials at a ceremony held in the County Administration Building in Toms River during a meeting of the County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Parents, family members, teachers and various school officials attended the awards ceremony commending all of the students for participating in the contest. We are proud to have so many talented Fourth Graders in Ocean County
