Copies of Vital Records can be obtained from the town where the event occured.
Marriage Certificates are on file in the town where the ceromony was performed and
prospective couples must
apply for and receive a valid New Jersey Marriage License from the
Registrar of Vital Statistics in the municipality where the female
resides.
Death Certificates are on file in the town where the death occured and Birth
Certificates are on file in the town where the birth took place.
